ABOUT FARNAN CATTLE CO.
With a dream and a single transfer of a lifetime American Angus membership from our grandfather, Farnan Cattle Company was founded with the desire to create a sustainable life and cattle herd for not only our family but for other families as well. Our operation aims to produce elite cattle that not only meet but exceed the demands of cattlemen across the country who desire quality meat and superior breeding capabilities. We strive to accomplish this goal by fostering authentic relationships with producers, enhancing genetics within our herd, and working diligently each day to ensure the utmost care for our cattle.

Farnan Cattle Company is rooted in a meticulous planning program that prioritizes key genetic markers that are destined to make an impact on beef quality and productivity. Thoughtful consideration is given to all breeding decisions. With the use of advanced genetic testing and a deep understanding of herd performance, bloodlines are methodically crafted to create dependable and profitable progeny. The genetic diversity of our cattle herd allows for a coveted balance of traits that lead to both sustainability and profitability.

Beyond genetic excellence, Farnan Cattle Company takes great pride in producing cattle with exceptional carcass traits. From the pasture to the plate, our desired end product guides our daily management practices. Nutrition is a priority for all of our cattle. All animals receive a balanced diet that optimizes their growth and development. Additionally, breeding decisions are made to elevate marbling and ribeye EPD's, leaving consumers with quality cuts of meat that meet and exceed their expectations of flavor and tenderness. It is our goal to yield a product that grades well and leaves consumers satisfied.

Farnan Cattle Company seeks longevity within its cattle herd, which is why focus is granted to maternal features and management. Females are the foundation of cattle operations. Features such as calving ease, heifer pregnancy, and efficient conversion of forage into milk and meat are all considered a priority for FCC. Furthermore, we believe that animal disposition, foot scores, and hair shed are integral in maintaining the longevity of a cattle herd. Together, these traits make for well-balanced animals that thrive and excel in diverse environments.

Our commitment to producing superior cattle will remain steadfast. Farnan Cattle Company is rooted in a passion to help build Angus cattle herds across the nation for producers and their families. Our greatest joy is building our operation with our family and fostering so many new relationships along the way. We hope that our paths will someday cross with you.
